About
Born on the beaches of Broome in 2013.
I had been beading and playing with bling since her childhood
In 2012 I started a little stall at the Broome Courthouse markets under the name Florence the Fox. It was a mix of vintage & laser cut jewels and a little bit of gemstone and stainless steel jewellery. I was essentially making anything I thought might sell and mostly one of a kind pieces.
It was a serious mish mash development phase and I came realise I was not creating for me or with passion.
I was in need of niche and a rebrand.
I had a bunch of Hill tribe and gemstones and shells collected in my travels over the years and so I decided I wanted to focus on creating water safe jewels for the salty lifestyle we were leading.
One evening whilst on my daily evening stroll of Cable Beach I was watching the moon rise over the dunes as the sun set over the sea & it hit me, Lunarsea!
A name that encapsulated my vision and the fact it sounded like lunacy felt appropriate.
In 2016 I discovered 14k gold fill and all my golden dreams came true.
It was more affordable than making in pure gold and unlike plating it was water safe. I could now offer all my silver designs on a gold version!
Jewels
Water Safe jewels.
We use 14k gold fill, super strong stainless steel, fine .999 and sterling silver .925, semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls & sustainably farmed shells in our designs.
Our water safe jewels are designed and handmade in-house by Celeste & her amazing husband Ushan!
Resort Wear
In March 2020 after the arrival of our first baby we launched a tiny range of resort wear clothing.
We had decided to finally take the leap into Celeste's dream of fashion design so we could also offer a product that you didn't have to wait whilst Celeste was in the baby bubble as she hand makes most of her jewels.
The Range consists of
The Dress, The Shirt Dress, The Skirt & The Top.
Simple yet stylish staple pieces.
Handmade with luscious eco friendly fabrics.
We endeavour to produce incredibly small runs of each style & will continue designs as long as there is demand.
We will not be a fast fashion, 6 collection a year brand.
We have teamed up with the incredible Ethical Manufacturing team
Not A Stitch Up

We are supporters of slow sustainable fashion,
Fair-trade, and quality over quantity.
